First solar eclipse to sweep across the entire U.S. since 1918 is upon us. Most of the mainland will see partial eclipse (75% or more), with 14 states from Oregon to S Carolina are in the path of Totality (100%.) It will begin around 9 am Pacific and end 2 1/2 hours later. The maximum will occur around 10:15 am Pacific. On the path of totality, the total eclipse will last about 2 1/2 minutes.
